Hello /ᐠ. .ᐟ\ฅ Welcome back to the Bell legacy. In the last update, we met our founder, Emma, moved in her girlfriend, Angela, went completely broke, went somewhat unbroke, and had a couple of babies along the way

 

Last time we left off in the middle of Hollis' birthday, so I suppose that's as good of a place as any to pick back up

Sir??? Can you please get over yourself and go away? We're kind of in the middle of something here

 

 

Sigh. Anyways here's our Hollis

Are there any normal men in this town? Like at all?

 

 

God damnit. This is all that blue haired guys fault and definitely not Angela's for picking a fight with him in the first place

 

 

Poor Hollis :(

 

 

Emma: *sob* this is the worst thing that's ever happened to me

 

 

Emma: Alright, that was your first and last strike, into the sun you go

 

Right in front of the school bus no less...he was so close to freedom

 

 

...why is Althea so obsessed with my children

 

 

Hollis: Yes absolutely I would love to be best friends forever with you

 

shrug

 

 

Anyways, it's Ena's birthday now! No big celebration for her though after what happened with Hollis' party

 

 

She's a bit uh...scrungly

Loves the Heat, Eccentric

 

 

Now that he's old enough to use an actual easel, I gave his own special one in his room. I'm obviously just being supportive of his hobbies and totally not using him to earn some additional money on the side

 

 

Belle: I don't know, do you know anyone else we could invite to come hang out? I just don't think we're taking up enough space in this hallway

 

 

Emma: I better start learning how to cook now for my girlfriend

 

...all it took was for Angela to get pregnant. Who knew.

 

Angela: Hehe...I'm gonna get you 
 

Now that she has some time off work, Angela finally gets some more time to spend with the kids. Whether or not that's a good thing I'm not sure

 

 

Ena is kind of cute...I guess...toddler faces are weird they're just so small their features never seem to know what to do with themselves

 

 

A day full of success!

 

 

Good god, Hollis, why have you done this? At least she's done having kids now :')

 

 

Meanwhile inside, these two guys are doing...whatever this is. I don't know who the guy in the coat even is. People just come and go as they please around here

 

 

A little pregnancy isn't going to stop me from still making Angela do all the repairs around here. She's the only one with any mechanical skill and Emma only just now started learning how to use the oven, I don't want to overwhelm her

 

 

Are you sure it's not too soon? I'm still traumatized

 

 

 

 

I don't know how to caption these. It's just a nice, cute little moment amongst the chaos :)

 

 

Althea: Yeah, I know a thing or two about painting. I could definitely be your mentor

 

The peace does not last long, clearly. Who even invited you over!!

 

 

Seriously, Althea, you have your own family that you could be hanging out with, you know

 

 

Hollis is working through some stuff lately...one moment he's playing nicely with his little sister and the next he wants to literally torment someone

 

 

I hope he gets it sorted out soon because we have another sibling on the way STAT!

 

 

Okay, wait. Everyone stop what they're doing. This green and red cat is outside and its name is Merry. Is that not just the nicest thing you've ever seen?

 

 

Emma: Hooray another baby!!

 

Oh yeah, this was going on

 

 

Another Fucking Random Dude Who Let Himself In: Ah...the miracle of childbirth

 

Hollis: Man who cares I've already seen a baby before

 

 

With a very mixed reception, meet Noelle! The third and final baby of gen two. Like her siblings, she got Emma's eyes but she got black hair from Angela instead of Emma's brown

 

 

Okay...a little worried about Hollis considering this popped up right after Noelle was born, but at least he's willing to work through it

 

 

Althea still insists on coming over every day to hang out with him. Maybe he would be a little more emotionally stable if he had friends his own age? Just a thought

 

 

Sigh. Whatever.

 

 

Birthday time again! Thank god because I can't pretend toddler Ena is cute anymore. She honestly scares me

 

 

Angela, please, give the girl a chance to finish her little age up spin at least

 

 

Here she is! Much cuter and less scary already

WHY

 

 

Blah blah more promotions. We're all very proud or whatever

 

 

Emma does a good job of mostly minding her business and just taking care of the kids, painting, and going to work. Honestly one of the best founders I've ever had

 

 

 

Angela: Hehe...I'm finally rich

 

 

Hollis: And I finally got a good grade on my report card!

 

Hooray! Celebrations all around!

 

 

In fact, I think the family has earned a puppy. Also, I wanted one

 

 

Meet Cereal! She is so fucking stoked to be here and I love that about her

 

 

Truly, she can do it all. She can be cute, she can be small, she can sit on her very big bed. A girl of many talents

 

 

Speaking of small girls, it's Noelle's birthday! They're just back to back it seems like, huh

Oh thank god. Just in time 

 

 

Ena: *looks around nervously* I have no idea what I'm doing

 

 

Good idea. Just act natural no one has to even know

 

Hollis is much more interested in making friends with Cereal than paying any notice to whatever the hell Ena is doing. Not that I blame him

 

 

I probably don't have to share every single promotion they get but hey. I'm committed at this point

 

 

Noelle: Somebody please help me I want out of here

 

I don't know if grumpy is the word I'd use to describe her so far...but she sure is noisy. I do keep misreading her name as Noodle for some reason so maybe she's upset about that

 

 

 

Hollis and Ena both rolled the want to be Cereal's master at the same time. The competition starts now

 

 

Noelle apparently also wants in on this but I don't think she totally knows what's going on

Cereal: Why is this happening to me

 

 

Her attention span is pretty short though so she quickly moves on to much more important things such as eating her dolls

 

 

Ena: So, like, if I get a good grade on my report card too will we get another puppy?

 

 

Ena: I'll take that as a no

 

 

Ena's life is so hard. She just wants more puppies. Emma just wants to watch TV in peace

 

 

Noodle update: getting attacked by the claw. How will this play out?

 

 

A positive interaction all around. Another successful morning for everyone

 

 

Ena: Yes! I finally did it!

 

 

Ena: Mom, look! Can we get another dog now??

 

Angela: *is deliberately not acknowledging her*

 

The second puppy situation is not looking good

 

 

Wahhh they grow up so fast ;-;

 

 

Hollis: Oh, gee, my birthday! Any wish in the whole world I wonder what I'll choose

 

 

Ena: *blows his eardrums out with a horn*

 

I think I have a guess as to what he might be wishing for

 

 

Yayyy

 

 

I can't believe it. Already a teenager

Perfect timing too! Now he can help out with Noelle when she demands to be released from her crib

 

 

Which is good because Angela is quite busy at the moment looking at pie charts in the newspaper

 

 

Hollis: What better muse for my next painting than myself? 

 

Wow, he helps with his siblings and he's humble too

 

 

Ena takes advantage of Hollis being distracted by himself and bonds with Cereal some more

 

 

Ena: You are so cute. Please pick me as your master I love you so much

 

Cereal: *is terrified*

 

 

Noodle update: Playing in the toilet. So, doing good I guess

 

 

We are the most unfit family in the world apparently. I don't know why the game had to go out of it's way to tell me about it

 

 

Emma: Owie

 

 

Emma: I think I'm already getting arthritis

 

Well, in Emma's defense, she's apparently falling apart so she couldn't possibly be expected to exercise

 

 

The perfect remedy to early onset arthritis? Filling in a giant hole in the yard in the rain. Luckily, this random child is here to cheer her on

 

 

Angela...your own son...how could you..

 

 

It's Noelle's birthday today so Angela wanted to throw a party, but the dancing child was still outside which kind of distracted everyone

 

 

Eventually, some of the party came inside, but there were still a few people out there for literally the rest of the night

 

 

3/3 children aging up perfectly so far B)

 

 

Okay. I suppose that's one way to celebrate your sister's birthday

 

 

Hollis: Um. You go girl?

 

So charming...

 

 

Noodle update: child status officially achieved

Oh shit, they're onto us

 

 

BOOOO. Fucking fun police am I right. Wait. That joke doesn't really work when it's literally the police huh

 

 

Somehow, Noelle had a good party regardless. Which is more than Hollis can say he ever had

 

 

Ena: Hm. This book reminds me of my brother

 

 

Gee, I can't imagine how you'd make that connection...it's not like you're reading his books in his room while he's asleep or anything

 

 

I'm with Emma, I'm getting the fuck out of here
